VCF East is for everyone! Computer geeks, families/children, students, collectors, IT...

    Classes: Final schedule to be determined. Technical courses, a panel discussion about DIY Computing, and the SBC workshop dominate the first day of VCF East.


    Exhibits: Exhibit registration is open. Please register now for an exhibit. Hands-on exhibits are presented Saturday and Sunday. You’ll find demos of 1960s minicomputers, 1970s homebrew systems, 1980s eight-bitters, and a few oddities. Some exhibits contain pristine original machines, while others focus on unique modern hacks and everything in between. Exhibit sign-up is open!

    Consignment: Need to thin your collection a little bit?  Or are you looking to pick up something new and interesting? We will have a consignment room to help! The consignment room is open to everybody – click the link for more information. This room is open Saturday and Sunday.


    Vendors: Do you make hobby-related products or work for a business that may interest our audience? If so, then you may qualify for a professional vendor booth. The vendors room is open Saturday and Sunday. Registration will open soon.


    Workshops: Workshop details will be announced soon.


    VCF Museum: The official VCF Museum, open year-round, is just down the hallway(s) from VCF East events. It will be open Saturday and Sunday. So will the rest of the museums at InfoAge, including those dedicated to radio/TV, shipwrecks, military vehicles, model trains, electronic warfare, and more!


    TIROS tours: The InfoAge museum, which hosts VCF East, is also home to a fully restored and operational 60-foot satellite dish originally constructed as a ground tracking station for TIROS (television infrared observational satellite). Guided tours will gather in the VCF main lobby Saturday at 11am, 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm, and Sunday at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm. No need to sign up, just meet in the lobby 10 minutes prior to the tour. The dish is about an 1/8th-mile walk down the street.


    Food: Food will be sold at VCF East on Saturday and Sunday. There is a scheduled DIY lunch hour on Friday. Nearby establishments are listed here.


    VCF East Dinner: There is a VIP dinner Saturday night. Exhibitors, volunteers, and speakers will have first access to tickets. We anticipate extra tickets being available to the public. Details are not yet available.
